Agile Fundamentals (2 Days)
Agile Fundamentals is a two day introduction to the core agile values, principles, and practices. In this course we introduce a number of agile approaches and focus on the scrum framework for agile product development. Students develop a deep understanding of the theory and practice of agile product development through a mix of presentation and hands-on exercises.
Agile for Leadership (1 Day)
Agile for Leadership is an intensive one day introduction to agile for technology and business leaders in your organization. In this course we introduce agile concepts, approaches, and techniques from the leadership perspective. Leaders develop an understanding of the agile mindset, product development perspectives, building agile teams, organizing work, tracking progress and budget, and how they can lead their organization through an agile transformation.
Agile for Product Management (2 Days)
The agile product management course focuses on the product owner role. In this course we go beyond the fundamentals of agile to focus on chartering, managing requirements with user stories, prioritizing and organizing the backlog, estimating & planning, and working with the agile teams to deliver the product vision. This course focuses on hands-on exercises to gain a deep understanding of project visioning, user story writing, backlog management, and how to effectively develop new products in an agile development process.
Agile Team Bootcamp (2 Days)
The Team Bootcamp is an intensive 2-day course for your whole team. In this training and coaching session, your team will create a project charter, create a user story map, write user stories, build a prioritized backlog, size the backlog, develop a product roadmap, create a product release plan, and start their first sprint planning session to get your team started on their first agile project.
Agile Project Kickstart Workshop (2-3 Days)
The agile project kickstart workshop is a 3 – 5 day session combining team focused training and coaching to get your team started on their first agile project. In this training and coaching session, your team will create a project charter, create a user story map, write user stories, build a prioritized backlog, size the backlog, develop a product roadmap, create a product release plan, and start their first sprint planning session to get your team started on the right foot.
Kanban Fundamentals (1 Day)
Kanban Fundamentals is a one day introduction to the core benefits of Kanban and flow. The course provides hands-on training for the whole team that focuses on how to utilize Systems Thinking in order to optimize the flow of work and the Kanban techniques of lean manufacturing to visualize and manage the team’s work. This course will provide participants the basic knowledge on how to visualize work (create visual boards), identify and remove bottlenecks, and optimize flow.
